day 80, at sea

Thanks for your comments, Cliff. We'll try it when we get home. About 60 more Canadians onboard right now. The largest number is Brits. We'll see what happens after the Mediterranean.

  1. Hello Again!
I tried to comment the other day and it wouldn't post it... so hopefully this works!

Mom- you still look so slim and fit! I'm very impressed - knowing that you are daily tempted with so much yummy food! Good for you!

I am surprised that was your first time in the pool! Has it not been sunny and warm until now? Also, it looked like no one else was in the pool!

Dad- I'm so sorry to hear about your crown! We are going through similar things here... Wesley had a very painful tooth for several days and finally managed to find a dentist in CA. He called me from the dentist to tell me the cost- they wanted to give him a crown, and said he also needed 2 other crowns and a crown he just had put on at Christmas taken off and replaced ANd some sort of gum surgery!

Well, I asked him if the crown for the sore tooth included a root canal. He didn't know- so I heard him ask the dentist. She said 'Oh, root canal? I could try to do a root canal.' I quickly said 'NO!' (I wanted to say RUN!) But, he was in so much pain, that we had them do the one tooth and put a temporary crown on. -Crazy!! Since then, he has not had much pain, so hopefully the worst is over.

I hope you have a better experience with an Indian Dentist!
    love,
    Susie

  2. Hi Susie -- Katie also is having crown stuff done, and I'm sorry that Dad and Wesley also have this stuff happening, too. We'll see what's in store for us in the future -- just google in "British teeth" and see what happens! Ricky Gervais went to do an award show in America, and apparently was asked if he was wearing fake crooked and yellow teeth for comedic effect (he wasn't). Love, Cliff
