  1. Hey Mom and Dad!
Wow! These last few posts on India were awesome! :)
In case I haven't said it before- I LOVE the posts that you write. I always scroll down and read the words first. Mom, you did a great job describing your first day of touring in India. The pictures and videos are good too- but I guess I am a word-girl, I like the story aspect of it best. Then, the pics and vids make more sense. Thanks for all the explanations.
I noticed in the last video of this post- with the women weaving- that the one woman had a young girl next to her.. was that her daughter? Was she just hanging out with her Mom while she worked, or was she doing something too?

The pictures are really great, and Mom, I think I would have the same thoughts/feelings about the village and the people you met- your respect for their sense of community, not wanting to take pictures and dismay over 'ugly americans.' That must have been quite a surprise when the guy just launched the boat back out without everyone on it! lol! well, that is what makes these things memorable, right?

I have been eagerly awaiting your visit to India, as I have several good friends who have big hearts for India and have served God there. I also have a friend returning to China this summer with her family. So, it is really been fun to see your experiences there... all from my kitchen table and usually in my pajamas! ha ha!

Thanks for spending so much time putting these posts together. It is well worth it. The girls are doing school right now, but I know they will each take time to look them all over later.

We miss you guys and are looking forward to seeing you in a month!
Can't wait to see what comes next!
    love,
    Susie
PS- still somewhat cool here... I started a fire in the wood stove yesterday am.
